Website request terms & conditions
These terms govern a website build request submitted through the Origami website. The requester confirms having read and accepted them before submitting.
Version 1.2 — 2026-08-08
1. Nature of the request
- Submitting this form is a request for project assessment and a quotation. It is not a contract and does not oblige Origami to deliver the project.
- Work begins only after a separate quotation or contract is signed and the agreed advance payment is received.
- Origami may accept or decline any request without stating reasons.
- Where these terms conflict with a later signed contract, the contract prevails.
2. The essential package
- The essential package lists at 2,500 SAR and is offered at a full discount (zero) as a time-limited promotion; Origami may end or amend the promotion at any time.
- The essential package covers a bilingual (Arabic and English) brochure website with the essential pages, a contact form, a WhatsApp button, and basic search-engine setup only.
- The essential package excludes e-commerce, payment gateways, booking systems, user accounts, admin dashboards, and integrations with other systems.
- Domain, hosting, content, images, and any third-party fees are the client's responsibility and are not part of the essential package.
- The essential package includes one round of design revisions; anything beyond that is quoted separately.
- Origami is not obliged to accept every essential-package request, and may set the number of projects it delivers under the offer and their priority.
- Origami may withdraw the essential package or change what it covers or its price at any time; changes do not affect a request already accepted.
- Support and maintenance after the site is delivered are optional and covered by a separate paid agreement.
3. Daily intake limit
- This page accepts a limited number of requests each day; the remaining count is shown at the top of the form.
- Once the day's allowance is used, intake pauses until the next day. This creates no obligation towards anyone who could not submit.
- Submission order does not determine delivery order; Origami sets its own review priority.
4. Accuracy of submitted information
- The client confirms that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
- The client confirms the commercial registration number belongs to their establishment and is valid; Origami may verify it and decline the request if it is not.
- Any quotation or timeline is based on this information; later changes may alter price and duration.
- Incomplete or inaccurate information may delay assessment, with no liability on Origami.
5. Client-supplied materials
- The client warrants that they own full rights to the logo, text, images and any material uploaded, or hold a licence permitting their use.
- The client bears sole legal responsibility for any intellectual-property or trademark claim relating to these materials, and shall indemnify Origami against any resulting loss or cost.
- Origami may refuse any material it considers unlawful, offensive, or infringing on third-party rights.
6. Reference websites
- Websites shared by the client are used as inspiration for style and user experience only.
- Origami does not produce literal copies of third-party design, content, or code, protecting both parties from liability.
- The deliverable is original work inspired by the general direction the client selected.
7. Intellectual property
- All deliverables — designs, code and files — remain the property of Origami until payment is settled in full.
- Upon full payment, the client receives the right to use the delivered final product for their business purposes.
- Origami retains ownership of its tools, libraries, templates and reusable generic code, and may use them in other projects.
- The transfer excludes third-party licences, which remain governed by their own owners' terms.
- Any use of the deliverables before full payment constitutes infringement and incurs liability.
8. Scope and change requests
- The scope of work is defined in the quotation; anything not explicitly listed is out of scope.
- Any additional request after scope approval is priced and scheduled separately.
- The number of revision rounds is stated in the quotation; extra rounds are billed separately.
- Written client approval of a milestone closes it; reopening it is treated as a change request.
9. Timelines
- Stated durations are estimates, counted from receipt of the advance payment and of all client materials and content.
- Client delays in providing content or approvals extend the timeline by the same period, with no liability on Origami.
- Timelines may be affected by circumstances outside our control, such as outages at hosting or payment providers.
10. Pricing and payment
- The budget indicated in this request is indicative; the final price is set in the quotation after requirements analysis.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated in it, after which it is subject to re-pricing.
- The advance payment is non-refundable as it covers analysis, planning, and reserving team capacity.
- Late payment entitles Origami to pause work or suspend the service until settlement.
- Prices exclude VAT and third-party fees unless stated otherwise.
11. Third-party services
- Domains, hosting, payment gateways, messaging services and external APIs are governed by their providers' terms and pricing.
- Origami is not responsible for their downtime, price changes, policy changes, or rejection of a client application.
- Fees for these services are borne by the client unless the contract states otherwise.
12. Warranty and support
- Origami warrants the correction of software defects within the delivered scope, for the period stated in the contract after delivery.
- The warranty excludes new features, changed requirements, and faults caused by the client or a third party modifying the code or hosting.
- The warranty excludes third-party service outages and their platform updates.
- Support and maintenance beyond the warranty period are provided under a separate agreement.
13. Limitation of liability
- Origami's total liability shall not exceed the amounts actually paid for the project in question.
- Origami is not liable for lost profits, indirect or consequential damages, or data loss arising from use by the client or a third party.
- The client is responsible for the content published on their website and its compliance with Saudi regulations.
14. Confidentiality
- Origami will keep client information confidential and will not share it with third parties except with consent or under legal obligation.
- The client undertakes the same towards Origami's proposals, documents, methodologies and technical deliverables.
15. Data protection
- Data submitted through this form is processed solely to assess the request and to communicate about it.
- Data is stored in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law.
- By submitting, the client consents to being contacted by Origami through their chosen channel.
- The client may request correction or deletion of their data by writing to info@origami.sa.
16. Portfolio rights
- Origami may feature the project in its portfolio and marketing materials after launch.
- The client may opt out by written request, which both parties will honour.
17. Termination
- Either party may terminate by written notice as provided in the contract.
- On termination, Origami is entitled to payment for work completed to date, and the advance payment is not refunded.
- Deliverables that have not been paid for are not handed over.
18. Force majeure
- Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as disasters, wide-scale internet infrastructure failures, or governmental decisions.
19. Governing law
- These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The competent Saudi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
- The parties will seek an amicable settlement before resorting to litigation.
20. Updates to these terms
- Origami may update these terms; each request is governed by the version in force at the time of submission.
- The version accepted by the client is stored with their request.
